Many firewood suppliers are supplying sub-standard firewood, which has made people uneasy about ordering. The problems people encounter range from damp wood to load size to delivery problems, and can leave customers feeling annoyed, particularly after spending out so much for the winter fuel source.
Although rare, we accept that problems can arise – but we want our customers to feel absolutely secure when they order firewood from us. In the rare event of a problem with your order, just let us know and we will do our utmost to correct the problem for you.

Have ordered logs from them on 4 occasions and would certainly use them again. Efficient friendly delivery service and our latest load was delivered within a couple of hours of ordering by phone although usually they’ll deliver at an agreed time a day or two later. Logs are all chopped ready to use and if you don’t want their standard length logs (10-12 inches) e.g. if you’ve a small burner, they’ll cut them to a different length. Their logs are excellent quality and a nice uniform length and so are easy to stack.

I shopped around my area, Hemyock, for the best value log supplier. Devon Logs are the best value by far. I have a huge wood burner which supplies central heating and hot water, and wanted something very specific (large pine logs). Devon Logs delivered exactly what I wanted, and provided advice on storage which I now follow. Fast, efficient, excellent value. My heating costs are half what they were when I used oil.

I was new to log burners – Devon Logs website was just the ticket in terms of help and advice. I did a lot of on-line search for log deliveries & Bruce was the only one who would deliver out of area at a reasonable price – Has kept to his delivery time and day on the two years I have been buying from him – Keep it up Bruce.

I ordered two loads of mixed hardwood logs from the Devon Logs website, I was called by Bruce within an hour to confirm a delivery time and to confirm payment. The delivery was made by Bruce in person at the time agreed. The logs are exactly as described and as I expected. I will certainly be using Devon Logs in the future for my winter log supply.

We burn an open log fire most evenings and spend hundreds of pounds on logs each year. The service and the logs from Bruce has always been first class. A couple of years ago, an urgent order, right at the end of a winter when we had run our stock right down (our bad planning) was met by an immediate delivery. To our dismay, it included too many stones and softwood debris, scraped from Bruce’s almost empty yard. A call to Bruce and the issue was resolved, much to my complete satisfaction. Service like this is hard to come by these days. Keep doing what you do Bruce.

I’ve ordered from Devon logs a few times now. The website is great and really informative on the different types of wood and how well they burn, the newsletters great too. Ordering is a doddle, either using the website or calling them direct, the delivery is always at a time to suit you and Bruce is always helpful, the quality of the wood is great and always well seasoned and there’s plenty of sticks as an extra to help get the fire going. It’s always a nice sight to have a tipper full of wood arrive in readiness for winter.
